What is KEY Club?

Picture
Key Club International is the oldest and largest SERVICE club for high school students. We offer opportunities for you as a student to serve and become an everyday hero of our community! What's great about Key Club is that we don't limit ourselves to doing service as a club, we expand out ot other schools such as: Cupertino, Fremont, Gunn, Homestead, Los Altos, Lynbrook, Menlo-Atherton, Mountain View, and Palo Alto. These schools and we are a apart of Division 34 South Penguins. Within our division we have monthly division meetings and we also come together to do service. Trust me, Key Club doesn't just stop there, we are also apart of Region 17 and belong in the CNH (California, Nevada, and Hawaii) District. At the end of of the year, Key Club also provides scholarship opportunities for Key Clubbers who show dedication to service. What allows us to stand out more than other clubs is our SPIRIT. We dress up and cheer everywhere we go as Key Clubbers to show our pride and of course fo rthe fun of it! At rallies we go crazy, scream and shout to prove which division out of the whole Region at RTC (Regional Training Conference) and the District at DCON (District Convention). With all the fun we have and the many chances we get at meeting new people, all in all every Key Clubber makes a difference in the world. SO join us as we prove to the world that yes, students can work harder and faster to make the world a better and stronger environment.

What Key Club is not...

  • A club to make Keys
  • An underground gang
  • A club to key cars
  • A party club

Things to Look Forward to:

FRN (Fall Rally North) - date: 10/24
  • A pretty insane rally that fundraises for Pediatric Trauma Prevention. (Check Events for more information). A taste of what DCON will be like.

DCON (District Convention) - date: April 9-11
  • The coolest KEY club event of the whole year.It is a 3 day/2 night trip at a convention center. Last year we went to Anaheim, but this year it will be held in Sacramento. All the the divisions in the Cali-Neva-Ha District (California, Nevada, Hawaii) meet up for a convention where there is TONS of spirit, leadership workshops, and a legit dance. The governor plus other positions for the CNH district are also elected. This trip is highly recommended especially if you have any interest in KEY Club whatsoever.
DCM's (Divisional Council Meetings) - date: monthly
  • The entire division meets up for fun socializing and bonding as a group.
